Your air conditioner should be cleaned and thoroughly checked at least once a year. More often if it is used a lot.

To avoid downtime when you need it most—summer and winter—we recommend booking a service during spring and autumn. The filters should be cleaned every month, but a full service and clean is imperative to remove dust, debris and allergens.

It varies on how regularly you have it serviced. Air conditioning units typically have a lifespan of around 10 years, maybe longer if you have it serviced annually and clean the filters once a month when it’s being used a lot.

Different brands and different problems will affect the cost, but we will provide you with a free quote before we commence work.

It could be due to a number of reasons. These include: 

1) You’ve got it on heat and it’s burning off the dust particles. If this is the case, the smell will be short-lived, and after a several minutes, it should go away.
2) An electrical problem such as an overheating motor, fan or circuits.
3) There’s a fire (if this is the case, stop reading this and call 000).

Ice cream storage freezers should be kept at -24 to -26 degrees Celsius. Ice cream cabinets should be kept at -14, which is at the perfect scooping temperature.

Your fridge should be set at 0–4 degrees Celsius. If it is not maintaining the set temperature, call our team to book a service.
